Nokia 6 getting Android 7.1.1 Nougat update: Report hints at a promising life
Nokia is back and the manufacturer HMD Global is reportedly prepping a software update on one of its first Nokia-branded smartphones Nokia 6. As per news, the all new Nokia 6 smartphone is running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and the update is reportedly being sent via over-the-air. And the thing doesn’t end there, with the update it also brings in some new features to Nokia 6 and one of the improvements include new power saving and background management features that will let you enjoy the feature for a longer duration. You will be also having added support for dual-SIM dual-standby for 4G and 3G networks.
There will be also an update for the phone’s USB drivers, and for some of its pre-loaded apps and apart from that, HMD is also providing Google’s Android Security patch for April 2017, which brings bug fixing and system enhancements. Talking about the features of the Nokia 6, it comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. Talking about the storage it is having 64GB onboard storage. On the camera front, the smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera, along with an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling.
